hope’s ANCHOR in the Studio
Let Me Sing Records recording artists Hope’s Anchor has just finished its most recent extended play titled “The Church is Leaving the Building”. This five (5) song EP is largely centered on our collective struggle to stay focused on what matters most, during times of uncertainty. These songs show that if you stay focused on God, you can experience peace, joy and hope in any situation.
Hope’s Anchor stayed true to its groove-oriented roots writing largely around heavy guitar riffs and melodic, soulful vocals. The band once again called on the services of Corey Lowery (Seether) to produce the project, allowing him to add color and context as needed. Drums were recorded with Mark Fisher at Outlaw Sound Studios in Alpharetta, GA. Guitars, Bass and Vocals were recorded with Corey Lowery at Lighthouse Studios in Marietta, GA. The band called on Jimmy Graft to record a Hemms family owned, 1961 Hammond C3 organ at Stratsville Sound Lab in Cumming, GA.
Hope’s Anchor will be performing at the Atlanta Music Scene Showcase at 10 High on March 12th at 10:00.
